If you had to guess, which metropolitan area of the U.S. do you think you’d find the youngest people buying homes? The answer may just surprise you!

The real estate market has been anything but stable these past few years, which is sure to make young home buyers nervous. Especially if this is their first time having to go through the process of buying a home. But some areas of the U.S. have proven to be good options for those looking to buy a home with an average household income. I’ll go into more detail below about the five metro areas that were found to have the youngest average age of home buyers in the U.S. but you can find a complete list of the 50 most populous metro areas with the youngest home buyers here. Young home buyers are looking to get the most bang (er, home) for their buck, and these are the cities where they’ve found they can do so.
