The Best States to Work From Home In
According to statistics, 35% of Americans work from home, but where is the best place to do call home the office? The team at Ooma created a scoring system to rank each U.S. state on how good of a place to work from home it is. The higher the score, the better. The score takes into account salaries, average rent, internet speed and quality, and other cost of living expenses. They also calculated a salary to rent ratio to create these rankings. The full list of all 50 states ranked from best to worst can be found here.
Here are the states that came out on top as the best locations to work from home in:
- North Dakota
- South Dakota
- Oklahoma
- Vermont
- Kentucky
- Missouri
- Delaware
- South Carolina
- Oregon
- Idaho
Currently the students with the highest number of workers at home is Colorado, which would indicate it’s one of the best, but as you can see it didn’t even score in the top ten due to higher rent and cost of living than many of these states.
