Spam Calls Inundate These U.S. Cities

Everyone gets annoyed by spam callers, but the team at Ooma has collected some proof that residents of some cities have more reason for anger than others. They created a map of the U.S. cities that log the most complains about spam phone calls. They adjusted the complaints per 1,000 people to determine which are the top 50 cities for number of spam call complaints.

These are the ten cities with the highest number of spam call complaints per capita:

1. Alexandria, Virginia: 22.84
2. Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania: 18.75
3. Orlando, Florida: 18.52
4. Miami, Florida: 17.58
5. Atlanta, Georgia: 16.39
6. Las Vegas, Nevada: 16.12
7. Knoxville, Tennessee: 15.18
8. Plano, Texas: 14.91
9. Washington, District of Columbia: 14.46
10. Columbia, South Carolina: 14.44
