Vaccines made headlines when scientists scrambled to create a vaccine for COVID-19. Social media blazed with debates about whether or not one should get the COVID vaccine. COVID is just one vaccine among many required by the CDC. Some vaccines are a requirement for children who are going to attend a public school, incoming college freshman, or people planning to travel in or out of the country. This might seem like a lot to keep track of, but the team at NY Requirements made it easy with this vaccine schedule graphic.

The graphic shows us the recommended vaccines, what age we should get them, and how many doses they comprise. The required vaccines listed are:

  1. RSV
  2. Hepatitis
  3. RV
  4. DTAP and Tdap
  5. Hib
  6. PCV
  7. IPV
  8. COVID
  9. Flu
  10. MMR
  11. Varicella
  12. HPV
  13. Meningococcal

Not every vaccine is required. For example, many people forgo flu shots or might let it pass them by an odd year, but these are what the CDC recommends for optimal health.
