Automobile manufacturers with the most recalls are the same manufacturers that have faced continuous issues in their vehicles over the span of several years. The AutomotiveTouchup.com team put together a chart of the auto manufacturers that have had the most safety recalls since 2010, to highlight the companies that have had the most issues with their vehicles. Which manufacturers have issues the most safety recalls in recent years?

Ford Motor Company has issued the most safety recalls on their vehicles since 2010 with 545 recalls. These notices are often due to issues in the powertrains, fuel systems, electrical systems, and airbags in their cars.

Forest River is right behind Ford with 527 recalls, nearly half of these due to the equipment used to build their recreational vehicles and trailers. The larger the vehicle, the more complex the components. This complexity means there is a greater chance an error or issue will happen in the manufacturing process or as a result of it.

Chrysler comes in third with 514 recalls since 2010. As one of the largest automobile manufacturers in the U.S., it can be expected that the number of recalls issued reflects their share of the market.
